DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Execute trades in the interest rate market, including treasuries, swaps, and options for institutional clients such as hedge funds and insurance companies. Price trades, review risks, and ensure proper execution, processing, and settlement. Maintain client relationships through in-person engagement, calls, and coordination with traders, strategists, and economists. Partner with clients to source liquidity and support trading desk risk management. Develop and deliver trade ideas and market color by synthesizing macro and relative-value analysis. Coordinate with research and strategy teams to propose hedging and yield- enhancement solutions across the rates complex. Lead client onboarding and documentation by coordinating KYC/AML, account opening, and trading documentation, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and suitability standards. Drive primary and new-issue distribution and cross-sell opportunities by partnering with syndicate and cross-asset teams. Manage coverage plans, pipeline, and wallet-share insights in CRM to meet revenue targets. Train junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Engineering (Any), Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Institutional Sales, Rates Sales Associate, Financial Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Institutional Sales, Rates Sales Associate, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Analyzing US swaps, Treasuries, and options markets using linear regression, multiple regression, and spread analysis; Manipulating datasets and generating reports, including historical returns and correlations to inform trade recommendations using Python DataQuery; Evaluating market dynamics across Federal Reserve cycles and economic trends using historical data from DataQuery, Bloomberg, and Mosaic, leveraging Python; Analyzing US macroeconomic data releases and market trends, including employment, inflation, GDP, and PMIs; Assessing the impact of macroeconomic data on US rates markets, including Treasury yields, interest rate swaps, and options; Developing actionable insights and strategy recommendations for US rates, fixed income, FX, and equities; Entering trades into the appropriate trading systems including CME Direct for correct CTFC and TRACE reporting; Calculating initial margin requirements for bilateral trades.

Full-Time. Salary:  $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
