Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Spring/Summer interns eager to gain field experience while pursuing a career in Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, or Civil Engineering. This is a unique opportunity for individuals ready to engage in hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in materials testing, including handling and testing concrete beams.
• Participate in weekend fieldwork at the Louisville Airport.
• Contribute to projects by performing tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary.
• Must own a pair of work boots.

Work Environment

The work environment is based at the Louisville Airport, requiring no travel. Interns will work weekends only, with Saturday shifts typically from 1 PM to 9 PM and lighter Sunday shifts from 10 AM to 2 PM. This role is a fantastic chance to build foundational skills in a supportive and educational setting, perfect for those interested in a long-term career in engineering or surveying.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
