About the Role

We’re an early-stage, fast-growing CDMO focused on lentiviral vector development and manufacturing for cell and gene therapy programs. As our Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be a key commercial hire responsible for owning early customer engagement, qualifying opportunities, and helping build our commercial foundation.

What You’ll Do

Own the Front End of the Sales Funnel

·        Be the first point of contact for inbound leads from our website, conferences, and campaigns

·        Proactively reach out to early-stage biotech, academic spinouts, and emerging cell therapy companies

·        Qualify opportunities by understanding:

·        Lentiviral vector needs and intended application (e.g., CAR‑T, TCR, HSC)

·        Program stage (research, IND‑enabling, early clinical)

·        Approximate scale, timelines, and funding status

·        Track and manage all leads in HubSpot, keeping data clean and usable as we scale and support quoting/opportunity tracking in NetSuite

Support Deals from First Call to Hand‑Off

·        Work closely with the BD lead to advance qualified opportunities

·        Help translate early scientific conversations into clear project scopes

·        Assist with opportunity setup, quote coordination, and tracking in NetSuite

·        Follow up consistently to keep momentum moving in a fast, resource‑constrained environment

·        Help improve how we price, scope, and position services as we learn from customers

Represent a Technical, Entrepreneurial CDMO

·        Confidently discuss lentiviral CDMO capabilities at a high level (no scripting)

·        Explain what we do, how we’re different, and where we fit in a sponsor’s development journey

·        Collaborate closely with technical, project management, and finance teams

·        Communicate clearly with scientists, founders, and executives—often in the same conversation

·        Deliver a strong, responsive customer experience even when processes are evolving

Build the Foundation, Not Just Follow Process

·        Help define early sales workflows in HubSpot and NetSuite

·        Share feedback from prospects to influence marketing, service offerings, and strategy

·        Support conference lead follow-up, pitch refinement, and messaging

·        Generate simple pipeline and activity reports to support decision-making

·        Wear multiple hats—you’ll help wherever revenue and growth need support

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·        Leads qualified per month (Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified Leads)

·        Inbound lead response time (target: same business day)

·        Opportunities created and advanced per quarter

·        Pipeline value influenced or generated

·        Conversion rate from first call to qualified opportunity

·        Follow-up compliance and CRM data accuracy in HubSpot and NetSuite

·        Conference and campaign lead follow-up completion rate

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field

·        1–4 years experience in inside sales or customer-facing biotech/CDMO roles

·        Working knowledge of lentiviral vectors and early-stage cell therapy development

·        Hands-on experience with HubSpot and NetSuite (or similar CRM/ERP systems)

·        Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
