Pay Bracket ExpectationsTo be compensated within this pay range, the employee is expected to:Work independently to manage a lead queue, follow up on open quotes, and schedule site surveys with minimal daily direction from managementOperate within established sales processes and escalate complex technical scoping questions to the Sales Manager or field team appropriatelyCollaborate actively with field reps and the operations team to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate pipeline data in SalesforceMaintain high standards for CRM documentation accuracy, professional customer communication, and timely follow-through on all assigned activitiesRequirementsQualify inbound leads using established criteria and route opportunities to the appropriate sales representative or schedule site surveys as neededConduct outbound prospecting via phone and email to generate new pipeline opportunities across target verticals including commercial, multi-site, and institutional customersFollow up on open quotes and proposals to advance deals and gather feedback; maintain accurate stage and activity records in SalesforceSchedule and confirm site survey appointments for field sales representatives and coordinate with the operations team for technician availabilityMaintain complete and up-to-date opportunity, contact, and account records in Salesforce CRM; log all calls, emails, and customer interactionsSupport preparation of quotes and proposals in coordination with the Sales Manager; assist with pricing research using approved systemsRepresent Security Monster professionally in all customer interactions, including occasional in-person visits or participation in site surveysAttend sales meetings and contribute pipeline updates, lead status, and follow-up activity summariesDevelop working knowledge of Security Monster's core platformsAssist with tracking and reporting on lead sources, conversion rates, and outreach activity as directed by the Sales ManagerEscalation PathThis role should escalate to the Sales Manager when a prospect requires custom scoping, pricing outside standard parameters, or a solution design that exceeds the authority of inside sales. Technical questions beyond general platform familiarity should be directed to the appropriate field sales representative or a manufacturer's support contact. Any customer complaint, contract dispute, or situation involving a committed deliverable must be escalated promptly. This includes maintaining a courteous, solutions-oriented tone in all communications, presenting a neat and professional appearance during site visits, and adhering to customer site rules and safety requirements. Company vehicles or personal vehicles used for business travel must be operated safely and responsibly.
