Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Infusion Nurse, you will administer intravenous (IV) therapies and medications, ensuring safe and effective patient care delivery.

Every day you will assess needs, manage infusion devices, meticulously prepare and administer medications, educate patients, and monitor for complications.

To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical assessment, precise technical proficiency, compassionate communication, and adherence to sterile and safety protocols.

  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate care for the patients at all phases of the process consistent with the documented protocol and established standards.
  • Provide patient and family education/teaching.
  • Ensure labs, radiographs, and other appropriate tests are done and the results are available prior to the patient's appointment. Document all the patients' medication and complete questionnaires.
  • Maintain documentation consistent with protocol/clinical study guidelines.
  • Communicates patient status on a regular basis to the physician and other members of the health care team.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Must possess current Registered Nursing License
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days


Preferred

  • Oncology Certified Nurse - OCN
