IT Helpdesk Technician

We are conducting a confidential search for a proactive and service-oriented IT Help Desk professional to support end users across North and South America. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment and software, while ensuring a consistent and reliable support experience. Reporting to an offsite Group Manager, you will be part of a centralized global team, with primary responsibility for onsite support and day-to-day IT operations at the local level.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Level 1 technical support (onsite & remote) for hardware, software, and user issues
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, systems, and applications
- Manage IT assets across their lifecycle (inventory, deployment, decommissioning)
- Support meeting room and collaboration technology
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and apply IT security policies at the user level
- Ensure compliance with internal data protection standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Contribute to improving IT support processes and user experience
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 (macOS knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office)
- Hardware troubleshooting skills (PC components, peripherals)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Familiarity with Active Directory user and device management (basic level)
- Service-oriented approach with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a consistent onsite presence while collaborating with a remote team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Teams Rooms or similar tools
- Exposure to Intune, Autopilot, or endpoint management
- Basic PowerShell or scripting
Background
- 3–5 years of IT support/helpdesk experience
- Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
