Senior Information Security Engineer
Hybrid in Miramar, FL
Onsite Monday - Thursday and Remote on Fridays
We are hiring a senior-level Information Security professional to support enterprise projects by embedding security early in the lifecycle. This role partners closely with business and technical teams to design secure architectures, perform threat modeling, and implement scalable security solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with project teams early to define security requirements and reduce downstream risk
- Perform architecture reviews and threat modeling across applications, cloud, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with Identity, AppSec, and SIEM teams on integrated security solutions
- Implement and support security tooling (e.g., data protection, DLP, access controls)
- Develop reusable security patterns and guidance to standardize best practices
- Create documentation, playbooks, and handoff materials for operational teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in information security, including architecture and engineering
- Strong knowledge of identity (SAML, OAuth, MFA), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and modern architectures (APIs, Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevSecOps, data protection, and enterprise security frameworks
- Knowledge in Serverless, Infrastructure-based Security, Zero Trust Policy Design, API Security, and driving reuse of capabilities across the organization (Generating Security Playbooks and reusable patterns)
- Ability to operate as a hands-on generalist across multiple security domains
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
