Industrial Engineer

Seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer with experience in automotive, RV, or motorcoach manufacturing environments to support production efficiency, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing facility.

This role focuses on line balancing, labor optimization, plant layout improvements, and Lean implementation across fabrication and assembly operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing workflows and implement improvements to increase throughput, efficiency, and productivity
  • Perform time studies, labor analysis, and line balancing across assembly operations
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation
  • Support plant layout optimization and material flow improvements
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and waste reduction
  • Improve OEE performance and production efficiency metrics
  • Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks
  • Support new product launches and process readiness activities
  • Assist with capacity planning and manpower utilization strategies
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, delivery, and cost


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (required)
  • 2–6 years of Industrial Engineering experience in:
  • Automotive manufacturing
  • RV manufacturing
  • Motorcoach / heavy vehicle manufacturing
  • OR similar high-volume assembly environments
  • Experience performing time studies and line balancing
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience improving plant layouts and material flow
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OEE improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to welding, fabrication, stamping, or vehicle assembly operations
  • Knowledge of standard work development
  • Experience supporting new product launches
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred)
  • ERP/MES system exposure
