Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer specializing in insulation and roofing materials, with products distributed to major suppliers. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and installing electrical systems within a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Connect with the maintenance manager and electrician team daily to receive work orders and set expectations.
• Work on conveyors, ovens, and slitters as part of the plant's 24/7 operations.
• Install and repair electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation, and equipment including motors, regulators, controllers, generators, and switches.
• Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose faults, determine corrective actions, and document repairs.
• Stay updated with the latest electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial lighting equipment.
• Configure, commission, troubleshoot, and start up AC/DC drives, PLCs, HMIs, and DCS with minimal engineering assistance.
• Document electrical changes by updating plant drawings and ensure all wires and devices are labeled accurately.
• Assist junior maintenance personnel with electrical symbols and check drawings for accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Strong industrial electrician experience with robust troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in PLC maintenance, ladder logic, and working with PLC cabinets.
• Familiarity with 24V, 4160V systems, NFP 70 E, and ARC Flash Safety.
• Experience with SAP ERP and CMMS systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 480 voltage systems and conveyor systems.

Work Environment
