Industrial Electrician

Responsible for maintaining site electrical and instrumentation equipment following the site established maintenance processes. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Department and primarily performs or assists others with planning, estimating, scheduling, and coordination functions for routine maintenance work, special orders, other major maintenance jobs, and shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Perform high and low voltage troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and possess knowledge of ladder logic.
• Assist with planning, estimating, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance work.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Department for efficient operations.

• Experience and understanding of NEC.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial setting.

• Journeyman papers or equivalent education and experience in mechanical fields.
• Associates Degree in a related field or Electrical and/or Instrumentation Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in schematic reading, mechanical troubleshooting, and machine repair.

Work Environment

The work environment is very industrial, non-climate controlled, and involves working around chemical mixing and blending equipment. Employees may be required to work outside in various weather conditions. The position operates from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Saint Louis, IL.

The pay range for this position is $87152.00 - $89772.00/yr.
