Industrial Automation Engineer

PLC • HMI • SCADA | Project Ownership

We are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer to join our onsite team in Indianapolis, IN to lead and contribute to PLC, HMI, and SCADA projects supporting utilities and advanced manufacturing. This role is hands‑on and project‑based, with involvement across design, implementation, and commissioning.

What You Will Do

• Design, program, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Work with platforms such as Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, or Wonderware
• Create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Support panel fabrication, installation, startup, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot systems and support continuous improvements

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred
• Minimum 8 years of strong experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
• Hands‑on PLC, HMI, and SCADA experience
• Experience contributing to or leading automation projects

Preferred: DCS platforms, industrial networking protocols, or exposure to NFPA / UL / IEC standards.
