Position Type: Contract-To-Hire (Full-Time)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly skilled ICP-MS Analyst to support a technically advanced laboratory environment focused on trace-level analysis.

This is not a general lab role — they are targeting candidates with hands-on ICP-MS experience who can operate independently and contribute immediately. The position is open due to a vacancy and is a priority hire, but the team is focused on identifying the right long-term fit.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a precision-driven environment and has a strong understanding of contamination control, quality practices, and analytical instrumentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ICP-MS instrumentation
  • Prepare samples, standards, and calibrations (including trace-level handling and dilutions)
  • Execute and support quality control processes (blanks, spikes, duplicates, etc.)
  • Maintain strict contamination control practices at ppt (parts-per-trillion) levels
  • Perform data analysis and support SPC / trend monitoring
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of lab processes and results
  • Operate additional lab equipment as needed (titration systems, pH meters, moisture analyzers, etc.)
  • Support overall lab operations and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on ICP-MS experience
  • Proven ability to operate independently in a lab environment
  • Strong understanding of trace-level contamination control
  • Experience with QC methodologies and data integrity best practices
  • Familiarity with SPC / trend analysis
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline
  • Experience in semiconductor, high-purity, or water testing environments strongly preferred

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to step into a high-impact, technically specialized role
  • Work within a precision-driven lab environment with advanced instrumentation
  • Strong team focused on quality, process, and continuous improvement
  • Immediate need with long-term growth potential for the right individual
