Hybrid position, 1 day a week onsite in Boston, MD. (Onsite day is Wednesday) - Monday - Friday normal business hours.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field)
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a strong focus on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Hands‑on experience with Saviynt or other IGA platforms (SailPoint, Oracle, One Identity, Omada)
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting IGA solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, and automation


Plusses

  • Experience supporting IAM integrations across cloud and enterprise platforms (Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, Salesforce, Workday)
  • Experience supporting IAM platform migrations or modernization initiatives
  • Familiarity with multi‑cloud IAM strategies


Job Description: The Senior IAM Engineer will report to the Manager of Identity and Access Management and serve as a key contributor to the design, implementation, provisioning, maintenance, and support of Mass General Brigham’s Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms and systems. These systems support mission‑critical digital services and are maintained on a 24/7/365 basis. This role works closely with internal digital, application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate IAM solutions across the enterprise. Responsibilities include supporting identity and access provisioning, automating provisioning workflows where possible, monitoring and resolving IAM requests and incidents through ServiceNow, and continuously improving IAM services to meet evolving technical and security requirements. The engineer will play an active role in MGB’s IAM modernization initiative, including the migration from legacy or homegrown IGA platforms to Saviynt and other strategic IAM solutions. This role also supports integrations with key enterprise platforms such as Workday and contributes to IAM capabilities aligned with MGB’s multi‑cloud strategy. The environment is fast‑paced and highly collaborative. The Senior IAM Engineer will participate in on‑call rotations, may perform occasional evening or weekend work to support system changes, and is expected to help guide best practices, mentor junior team members, and lead technical discussions when appropriate.


Salary: $100-130k (Potential flex - based on experience, education, certifications).
