Job Title: IaaS Administrator (VMware Aria Automation (vRA) SME)

Location: Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX (Day1 Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time

The IaaS Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the virtualized infrastructure within a Private Cloud environment. This role will involve the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere, vRealize Suite, and associated virtualization technologies to ensure the seamless operation of our IaaS offerings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vSphere, vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Operations (vROps), and related VMware technologies, providing tactical support for resource allocation, automation, and migration activities.

Must-Have (Hard Requirements)

• 4–6+ years hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRA).
• Proficiency with Cloud Templates (IaC) using YAML-based blueprint design.
• Experience with Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO) workflow development (JavaScript).
• Integrating Aria with IPAM, CMDB, and ITSM (ServiceNow, Infoblox, etc.).
• Familiarity with Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager (LCM) for deployment/patching.
• Active Certification: VCP-CMA minimum; VCAP-CMA preferred.

Strong Preferences & Broadcom Awareness

• Experience with Aria Automation Config (SaltStack) or REST API extensibility.
• Knowledge of GitOps/Source Control (GitLab/GitHub Actions) and Terraform providers.
• Senior Differentiator: Understanding VCF packaging changes, the Broadcom support portal, and migration paths (vRA 7.x → 8.x → Aria).
