HVAC Technician

Job Title: Mechanic

Duration: 6 Months contract - can extend

Location: Onsite at Vienna, VA

Contractor Experience Level: 5+ years of experience

Job Overview:

• We are seeking experienced HVAC professionals with strong mechanical expertise to support commercial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC systems, along with a solid understanding of plumbing and refrigeration systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia HVAC Journeyman or Master License
• Minimum 7+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in commercial environments
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system maintenance
• Ability to manage and oversee mechanical operations
• In-depth understanding of state and local mechanical codes

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and related mechanical systems
• Diagnose issues across HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems
• Ensure all work complies with applicable state and local codes
• Oversee and support day-to-day mechanical operations
• Maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency
