JOB OBJECTIVE:To repair and maintain air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems and pneumatic equipment at City of Little Rock buildings and facilities.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a vocational-technical school course in heating and air conditioning systems, four (4) years of experience as a HVAC Mechanic; one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must be available to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must possess an Arkansas Class B HVAC license before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must obtain an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 certification Type 1 and Type 2 administered by an EPA approved organization before employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
Must possess an Arkansas HVACR registrant license within thirty (30) days of employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
