Job Title: HVAC Install

Job Description:

We are seeking a Commercial Duct Installer to join our HVAC installation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining ductwork systems in a new commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, blueprint reading, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Pay:

• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr
• Paid Weekly

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of Commercial experience.
• OSHA 10

Responsibilities:

• Install roof top units and assemble sheet metal ducts, fittings, and accessories in a new commercial building
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on sheet metal according to drawings or templates.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
• Secure ducts to walls, ceilings, and other structures using hangers, brackets, and other fasteners.
• Seal joints and seams in ductwork to ensure airtight systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate installations.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on job sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in HVAC systems
• Experience in working with sheet metal
• Ability to accurately interpret blueprints

Work Environment:

The role involves working on a new build commercial site, requiring adherence to safety protocols including OSHA standards. The work setting is primarily outdoors on rooftops, and requires wearing safety gear such as; Harness, High Vis, Protective Glasses, Gloves, and Steel Toe Boots

Job Type & Location:

• This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire position
• Worksite located in Lexington, Kentucky
