Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing consulting firm supporting government-focused initiatives. They are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to support both people operations and day-to-day office management. This individual will play a key role in maintaining internal processes, supporting employees, and ensuring smooth office functionality.


Job Description:

This role blends HR coordination, recruiting support, and office management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working closely with leadership while managing multiple priorities. You will serve as a central point of coordination for employee experience and office operations.


Key Responsibilities:

People Operations & Recruiting Coordination

  • Facilitate onboarding activities from offer acceptance through first day readiness
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions and general HR support
  • Liaise with an external HR provider for benefits and compliance-related processes
  • Coordinate interviews, manage scheduling, and communicate with candidates
  • Assist hiring managers by organizing recruiting workflows and tracking progress
  • Maintain employee records and support ongoing HR processes
  • Contribute to performance review cycles and employee lifecycle activities

Office Management

  • Oversee office logistics including supplies, vendors, and workspace organization
  • Coordinate new hire setup, including equipment and workspace readiness
  • Support planning and execution of team events and internal initiatives
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient office environment

Administrative Support

  • Provide scheduling and coordination assistance to leadership as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR coordination, people operations, recruiting support, or office management
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable following up with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with task management tools is a plus
  • Prior experience in government contracting or related industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
