Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vernon, CA for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions to ensure compliance, streamline HR processes, and foster a positive and productive workplace culture. Key responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations and supporting performance management initiatives. This position also entails providing strategic HR insights, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and collaborating across all departments to meet the company's workforce goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in apparel, manufacturing, operations, or fast-paced entrepreneurial environments
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive matters professionally
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, evolving business environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Work Environment

This is an in-office role based in Vernon, California. Due to the highly collaborative and operational nature of WRLA, consistent in-person presence is considered essential for success in this position.
