Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a food manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH area!
Responsibilities:
Direct all HR activities for a facility with over 250 employees, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and manufacturing production schedules.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns; champion a proactive, non-union workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Manage and ensure the accuracy of complex, high-volume payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff.
Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts to maintain optimal staffing levels for production lines, including onboarding and retention strategies.
Maintain rigorous compliance with federal and state labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and support workplace safety initiatives in coordination with the EHS department.
Coach and develop front-line supervisors and department heads on performance tracking, disciplinary actions, and leadership development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Food manufacturing environment highly preferred
Proven ability to manage HR functions of large plant setting
Extensive experience of managing in a non-union environment
Experience managing complex pay roll systems (experience with ADP preferred)
