IFAB Corp. is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Bilingual HR Generalist with a strong background in end-to-end recruitment and other HR functions, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a key partner to operations and business leaders, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while supporting core HR functions.
The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of recruiting experience, is fluent in English and Spanish, and has hands-on experience supporting manufacturing or industrial workforce populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, skilled trades, and corporate roles
- Partner closely with plant managers and department heads to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
- Manage high-volume hiring for production roles while maintaining quality of hire
- Source candidates through job boards, community outreach, referrals, job fairs, and trade networks
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for production and technical roles
- Conduct interviews in both English and Spanish as needed
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, turnover, cost-per-hire, etc.)
HR Generalist Functions
- Support onboarding and orientation programs, including shop-floor employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist in performance management and employee engagement initiatives
- Provide guidance on company policies, compliance, and HR best practices
- Address employee relations issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Support compensation, benefits, and attendance tracking processes
- Assist in training programs, including safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proven experience supporting high-volume hiring for production or operations roles
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC) and North Carolina labor regulations
- Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing/plant environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
