Job Store staffing is recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist II for a direct hire full-time opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO. The Human Resources Generalist II is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment—manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

Salary range: $72,000-83,000/year
Position Overview
As part of a small, high-impact HR team, the HR Generalist II will support a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR program administration. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping ensure smooth HR operations while supporting both day-to-day needs and broader organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
- Partner with leadership to address employee relations matters, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure compliance and a positive new hire experience
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support HR policy updates, employee handbook maintenance, and HRIS data management
- Administer performance management processes and track HR metrics
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications
- Collaborate closely with payroll on employee inquiries and provide backup support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple functional areas
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a lean team environment
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
