NBOME is seeking an experienced HR generalist who helps support the design, development, implementation, administration, and ongoing support of new and existing human resource processes and organizational development initiatives. This person will support benefit administration including the annual performance review program. This role has key responsibilities related to data management, staff development and compliance training programs, and regulatory reporting requirements and will be the Lead resource for ongoing development and maintenance of HR information technology. The HR Generalist will be responsible for staff wellness and engagement programs.


This position is based onsite in our Chicago office (O'Hare/Rosemont area) and is eligible to participate in a hybrid work schedule with most Mondays and Fridays remote. This position may also require travel to our Conshohocken, PA office 1-2x per year



Responsibilities

  • Benefits Administration and Compliance. Responsible for administering all benefits to include health & welfare benefits, Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, COBRA and Leave of Absence administration. Liaison with benefits broker. Ensures benefit compliance. Conducts invoice reconciliations for all benefits programs. Conducts Onboarding and Off Boarding of employees to include benefits. Develops, implements and monitors staff wellness and engagement programs. Maximizes utilization of wellness resources available through existing benefit providers.
  • Employee Engagement. Spearheads annual performance review process and related feedback tools. Partners with management to provide guidance and resources to employees relating to retention and performance development needs. Develops, implements and monitors staff wellness and engagement programs. Provides new and enhanced wellness offerings on a regular basis, utilizing employee feedback, demographic data and best practice trends. Manages employee award and recognition programs. Plans and organizes employee events and activities.
  • Ongoing review of programs and initiatives to support organizational achievement of strategic goals through tracking, reporting and analysis of related metrics. Ensure adherence to regulatory disclosure and reporting requirements including and not limited to EEO-I, E-Verify, new hire reporting, unemployment, workers compensation, COBRA, FMLA and ADA. Conducts New hire HR orientation, employee development sessions and peer education sessions (lunch and learns, 401k webinars, etc.). Participates in diversity activities and initiatives.
  • Leads ongoing development and maintenance of HR technology tools (Paylocity, Employee Navigator, etc.) including data entry, reporting, periodic auditing, and implementation of new features. Creates and facilitates user training as applicable. Manages data and quality control of data; produces reports. Monitors and contributes content to SharePoint/One Hub HR sites.
  • General administrative duties including personnel file maintenance, employee transactions and content contributions to intranet and newsletters. May include recruiting for open positions from time to time. Assists VP with administrative duties related to building security and office requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Organizational Development, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business or related field).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resource; PHR, SPHR or equivalent preferred

  • Data manipulation/computer skills, HRIS (Paylocity a plus)
