Human Resources Director – Los Angeles (Hybrid)

MUST have law firm background, mandatory.

The role that turns HR into a strategic power center.

Not every HR leadership role has a seat at the table. This one does.

Our client, a highly respected, multi-office law firm, is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead firmwide HR operations and partner directly with executive leadership. This is a high-impact position for someone who knows how to run a tight HR function—and elevate it.

Why This Human Resources Director Role Stands Out

  • True leadership influence across the full employee lifecycle
  • Oversight of critical HR functions: compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Ownership of firmwide evaluation and compensation processes
  • Strategic involvement in HR technology, analytics, and AI-driven improvements
  • Hybrid schedule (2+ days onsite in Los Angeles)

What You’ll Drive as a Human Resources Director

Seamless HR operations. Smart, defensible employee relations decisions. Flawless execution of payroll, benefits, and compliance. Data-backed insights that leadership actually uses. Programs that don’t just exist—but work.

What It Takes

  • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Proven ability to manage teams and complex HR programs end-to-end
  • Strong command of employee relations, compliance, and performance systems
  • Experience with ADP HRIS and payroll; exposure to legal or professional services environments is a major plus

The Bottom Line in the Human Resources Director Role

This is not an administrative HR role. It’s a leadership position with visibility, authority, and the ability to shape how a sophisticated law firm attracts, manages, and retains its talent.

If HR is both your discipline and your business strategy—this is where they meet.
