Are you someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you enjoy caring for and mentoring others with disabilities?

MyPath and its Operating Companies provide specialized services and dignified care for children, adolescents and adults with special needs. Our companies provide a spectrum of services and support which promote the ability of those we serve to live as independently as possible in the community.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides HR support across Homes for Independent Living (HIL) and Paragon Community Services (PCS).

This role is designed for someone who can step into ambiguity, build trust quickly, and drive consistency across teams. You’ll partner closely with operational leaders and HR to ensure compliant, people-focused practices, while supporting multiple locations.

If you need a predictable day-to-day, this role will feel limiting. If you’re energized by variety, problem-solving, and building relationships across a complex organization, you’ll thrive.

  • Administer and support FMLA, MLOA, and ADA processes, including employee communication and leader coordination
  • Assist with injury follow-up, root cause analysis, unemployment processing, and benefits-related inquiries

Workers’ Compensation & Return-to-Work

  • Support and help coordinate the Workers’ Compensation return-to-work program, including collaboration with leaders on modified duty and successful employee reintegration

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure compliance through consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations
  • Draft and update HR policies, procedures, communications, and micro-learnings

Operational & Project Support

  • Provide HRBP support during vacancies, leaves, or periods of organizational growth
  • Support key HR initiatives including HCM audits, data clean-up, location start-ups, and cross-functional projects

On-Site Support & Travel

  • Travel to HIL, PCS, and MyPath offices and sites to provide in-person HR partnership

How You’ll Work (Role Expectations)

  • Hybrid role with a mix of home and in-office work
  • Primary office location: Brookfield, WI (HIL)
  • Post-training: In-office presence three (3) days per week initially to build relationships
  • Participate in key meetings
  • Maintain consistent operational check-ins
