ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and autonomous bilingual HR & Payroll Senior Specialist based in Frisco, Texas, under a hybrid work model.
📍 Location: Frisco, Texas (Hybrid)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time
The ideal candidate will independently lead HR and payroll operations for OFG in the United States, managing W2 temporary workforce, full-cycle recruitment, and U.S. labor law compliance as the primary HR reference for the USA region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Full-Cycle Recruitment — Job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding of candidates
· W2 Workforce Management — Hiring, management and termination, ensuring full regulatory compliance
· Payroll Processing — W2 payroll ensuring accuracy, tax compliance and coordination with finance
· Onboarding & Offboarding — I-9 verification, E-Verify and full regulatory documentation
· Leave Administration — FMLA, ADA, COBRA management — primary point of contact for employees and managers
· Labor Law Compliance — FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, I-9
· Employee Relations — Investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution and documentation
· HR Strategy — Develop and propose HR policies and metrics to support USA region decision-making
REQUIREMENTS
🎓 Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in HR & Payroll roles
· Full-cycle recruiting experience in the U.S.
· Proven ability to operate autonomously without direct supervision
💻 Technical Knowledge
· U.S. federal & Texas state labor law (FLSA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, I-9)
· W2 temporary workforce and independent contractor (1099) management
· Payroll processing & tax compliance
· HRIS & ATS systems
· Microsoft Office — advanced Excel
