HR Data Analyst (People Analytics)

About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven HR Data Analyst to support workforce strategy through advanced analytics and reporting. This role partners closely with HR and Finance to deliver data-driven insights on headcount, payroll, and budgeting to turn workforce data into actionable insights that improve hiring, retention, and overall organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze HR data including headcount, turnover, recruiting, and performance metrics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support HR and leadership decision-making
- Identify trends and provide insights on employee retention, engagement, and productivity
- Partner with recruiting teams to optimize sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes
- Develop predictive models (e.g., turnover risk, hiring success)
- Ensure data integrity across HR systems and reporting tools
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, actionable format
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or similar role
- Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SuccessFactors)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and/or predictive modeling preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into business insights
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Understanding of workforce planning and recruiting metrics
- Experience in the automotive engineering industry is a plus
