The Housekeeping Houseperson delivers service excellence to our guests and colleagues by assisting the Housekeeping department in creating a clean and welcoming experience. This position is responsible for maintaining all corridors, public areas, heart of house spaces, guest rooms and assisting room attendants with supplies, linens, and removal of trash.This position is focused on the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property.

Candidate should have open availability with the potential of flex shifts with a guaranteed two consecutive days off. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. A good faith estimate of schedule will be determined and decided upon hire.
Job Duties include:
· Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, vacuum or shampoo corridors, elevators, stairwells, public areas, heart of house areas, locker rooms and storage closets
· Complete detailed cleaning of sinks, toilets, mirrors, countertops, surfaces, walls, vents, and floors with specifically assigned cleaning agents.
· Respond to guest requests in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction
· Retrieve and deliver guest room supplies (cots, cribs etc.) as needed to and from storage areas
· Ensure room attendant carts and closets are stocked and organized
· Check with room attendants to ensure they have supplies
· Empty dirty linen and trash from housekeeping carts, and other areas, and take to the appropriate location
· Clean elevator landings and doors
· Monitor hallways and walls for scuff marks and remove
· Clean guest rooms as assigned including cleaning, dusting, polishing and vacuuming to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards as needed.
· Change linens and make guest beds. Restock all guest room supplies. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
· Complete PM turndown service as assigned
· Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed including polishing fixtures
· Follow proper lost and found procedures
· Report any items in need of repair
· Approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner
· Comply at all times with Hyatt’s standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations; including wearing the proper uniform and personal protective equipment
· Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by a leader

· Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
· This position requires strong attention to detail
· The ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally and/or in written form with basic English communication skills
