EVS Technician – North Austin

Are you someone who takes pride in a job well done and wants your work to truly matter? As an EVS Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our hospital clean, safe, and welcoming for patients, families, and staff. Your attention to detail directly supports patient recovery and safety.

What You’ll Do
  • Deep clean non‑occupied patient rooms efficiently (20–30 minutes per room)
  • Make beds, flip mattresses, and fully disinfect patient spaces
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in isolation rooms while following strict safety protocols
  • Handle and dispose of linens, trash, and biohazard materials properly
  • Thoroughly mop and sanitize floors and all room surfaces
  • Work independently while being part of a supportive caregiving team
What We’re Looking For
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and push up to 200 lbs
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Clear communication skills to interact professionally with nurses, patients, and coworkers
  • A customer‑service mindset—even in challenging situations
  • 6+ months of housekeeping, hotel, or hospital cleaning experience
  • Hospital EVS experience is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
