Hospital Housekeeper / EVS Technician

Location: Downtown San Antonio, TX (On‑site Hospital)

Pay: $15.10/hour

Job Type: Full‑Time | Contract‑to‑Hire

We are hiring Hospital Housekeepers (EVS Technicians) to support a major hospital in downtown San Antonio. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

This is a stable, long‑term opportunity in a hospital setting that operates 24/7, offering consistent hours, overtime availability, and strong growth potential.

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including discharge rooms
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
• Wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, and remove trash and soiled linens
• Follow strict sanitation, infection control, and safety standards
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced medical environment
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

✅ Rotating weekends required (hospitals are open 24/7)

• 1+ year of housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Hospital or hotel cleaning experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a medical environment (including exposure to blood and trauma)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50–75 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be comfortable with a background check, drug screening, and medical clearance

• First 2 weeks will include paid training and shadowing with a supervisor
• You’ll learn hospital cleaning procedures and assigned areas
• Once trained, you’ll manage your own cart and cleaning zone
• Performance expectations:
  • 15–20 minutes per patient room
  • 30–45 minutes per discharge room
• Must consistently meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards

• Hospitals never close — steady hours year‑round

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $15.10 - $15.10/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in San Antonio,TX.
