Description:


The Technician will follow well-defined instructions utilizing necessary skills to prepare sterile products, store, package and coordinate final products for Home Delivery, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Mastery and minimal direction needed to perform Pharmacy Technician functions necessary in Infusion Pharmacy setting. These duties include but are not limited to: prescriptions/order entry, maintenance of all patient related records, skill and experience in sterile preparation and appropriate labeling of finished compounds, complete bill of sales/point-of-sale transactions, answer the telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff. General pharmacy organization and cleanliness, provide exceptional customer service.Estimated pay range for this position is $20.02 - $26.03 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:


Degrees:
  • High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must obtain PTCB – Pharm Tech Cert within 1 year of hire RPT - Reg Pharmacy Technician.
  • Sterile Compounding experience required including preparation, storage, cleaning, maintenance and selection of sterile products related supplies.
  • Home Infusion Pharmacy operations experience preferred.
