We seek a talented and motivated transactional attorney, with experience representing homeowners associations, to join our expanding team. As a crucial member of the transactional homeowners association practice group, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with various attorneys in the firm on a variety of matters involving all aspects of homeowners associations and NRS 116. This role provides an opportunity to work on building a strong client base, developing and expanding a knowledge base pertinent to the firm’s homeowners association clients, and provide valuable counsel to our homeowners association clients through navigating a complex legal environment.

  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients involved in disputes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyses on a variety of legal issues.
  • Stay actively engaged in changes in a variety of different areas of relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation practice.
  • Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
  • Interpret, apply and draft legal opinions for clients based on client governing documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of corporate law and related legal doctrines.
  • Draft, review, and edit legal documents, contracts, including HOA governing documents, including CC&Rs, bylaws, rules & regulations, and policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration, when appropriate.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 + years of experience in areas of real property law and common interest community law.
  • Nevada Bar admission is required.
  • Strong and adept client communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills are required.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel – as well as general office equipment.
  • Proficient in legal research.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete simultaneous assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the role is 120-175kk

Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
