Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel Assignment) – Florence, SC

Position Overview:

Join a busy Interventional Radiology unit where you’ll support minimally invasive procedures and advanced imaging cases. This role is ideal for techs who enjoy a steady caseload, structured schedule, and hands-on clinical work.

Compensation: $2,800/week gross ($39/hr (W2) + $1,240/week tax-free per diem)

Schedule:

• Duration: 13-Week Contract
• Shift: Day Shift (Mon–Fri) | 5x8-hour
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
• On-call: Rotating (shared with team)
• Weekend: Every 3rd weekend

Facility Highlights:

• Average caseload: ~4 procedures per tech/day

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with general Interventional Radiology procedures
• Work with imaging modalities including CT/Ultrasound-guided interventions
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and radiology team for patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year IR Tech experience
• ARRT (R), BLS, and SCRQSA certification required
• Experience with general IR cases (Neuro IR a plus)
• Must provide your own radiation badge
• First-time travelers welcome

Important Notes:

• Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront
