We are seeking a Hiring Manager who will work under the direction of the Statewide Field Director and be part of the Senior Management Team that will oversee infrastructure to support 300+ staff in the 2024 election.
This position will take ownership over the following buckets of work:
Required Skills and Abilities:
The Hiring Manager will be a member of the Senior Field Team. Must be able to manage high-level inter- and intra-departmental projects—including acting as a point of contact for the field team to external departments as needed.
Strong project management skills and the ability to hold teams accountable for adhering to company processes, standards and systems. Must also have demonstrated professionalism and tact in communications with a diversity of individuals. Strong organizational and time management skills, acute attention to detail and ability to work well with others on the campaign team is a must.
The ideal candidate would have experience in campaigns or in the progressive movement.

Position Details The Hiring Manager is a temporary, full-time salaried position through December 2026. Benefits include health/dental insurance.. Prior to starting the position, the Hiring Manager must reside in Columbus, Ohio, possess a cell phone, a driver’s license, and have access to a reliable insured automobile.
Extensive travel is required. Weekend and evening hours will be required. Work-related expenses are reimbursed according to policy. Physical requirements include frequent standing, canvassing for long periods of time, the ability to sit in meetings, and lift moderate weight for supplies. The ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and complete projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
Salary This position offers a highly competitive salary, based on experience. Salary Range for this position will be $75,000-$82,000.
