Description
- Maintaining robots and automated machinery
- Troubleshoot, adjust and teach robots software and/or path programming
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.;
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment and document maintenance activities.;
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shaft, bearing, gear, and other parts of machinery.;
- Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.;
- Follow the preventative maintenance program
- Assist in tool, fixture, material flow and changeovers.
- Welding & Fabrication
- Troubleshoot push buttons and press keys on robot controller, teach pendant when robotic equipment is out of sync, and programmable controller to program automated machinery, such as robots, to operate automated machinery
- Prepare and adjust robot programs and automated welding parameters.
- Analyze robotically welded product to determine the adjustments to be made to the robot program and welding parameters.
- Troubleshooting problems of all equipment mechanically and electrically
- Troubleshooting and programming PLC's (Motoman or Siemen's)
- Experience working with automated weld equipment;
- Install and maintain mechanical and electrical work on automated and manual equipment including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, low voltage electrical systems and high voltage electrical wiring
- Perform: robotic troubleshooting, robotic preventative maintenance and ladder programming
- Ability to read and analyze technical schematics and blueprints
- Working with electricity up to 480v
- VFD's, photoeyes, sensors and contactors.
