📍 Hillside, IL

💰 Pay: $23–$25/hour

🕘 Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

🔎 About the Role

We are hiring experienced CNC Machine Operators to set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role involves working with mills and lathes (Mori Seiki, Doosan, etc.), using precision measuring tools, and reading blueprints daily to ensure high‑quality production.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines
• Load and unload machines safely and efficiently
• Utilize precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Understand and use G & M codes
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection to ensure conformance
• Inspect tooling for wear or damage
• Make machine offset adjustments as needed
• Maintain near‑zero scrap throughout run cycles
• Record daily production and maintain accurate documentation
• Identify and isolate non‑conforming parts
• Assist Set‑Up Technicians with basic setup and teardown
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support team leads and perform other duties as assigned

🧠 Essential Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of CNC operating experience
• Hands‑on experience with CNC mills and lathes
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
• Understanding of G & M codes, GD&T, and tolerances
• Experience troubleshooting CNC machines
• Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously

➕ Additional Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach for 8+ hours
• Effective communication and understanding of work instructions in English
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and self‑motivation
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Mastercam, Oku preferred
• Commitment to housekeeping and organization
