Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven High School Math Teacher to deliver rigorous, engaging instruction that prepares students for success in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and higher-level mathematics such as Pre-Calculus and Statistics. The ideal candidate believes all students can achieve at high levels and is committed to using clear instruction, consistent practice, and data-driven teaching to accelerate student learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily math lessons aligned to curriculum and standards
• Ensure students build strong foundational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent work to maximize learning
• Regularly assess student understanding and adjust instruction based on data
• Provide targeted support to students who are struggling
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Create a structured, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to improve instruction and student outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Mathematics or related field preferred
• Experience teaching high school math preferred
• Strong content knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly
• Commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds
