You may be asked will drive the work truck to residential and commercial job sites, work alongside small crew, and perform daily lawn maintenance tasks while making sure the job gets done right. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their horticulture and landscape maintenance expertise while enjoying a fast-paced, rewarding environment.DutiesOperate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain pristine lawns and gardensAssist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed controlWork hands-on with your crew: mow, edge, blow, trim hedges, maintain beds, remove debris, and do seasonal leaf cleanups.Support irrigation system installation and light chemical applications (crack & crevice treatments).Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiencyKeep the truck and equipment clean and organized.RequirementsBasic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscapingExperience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenanceWillingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual laborStrong attention to safety procedures when handling equipment like lawnmowers, power tools, or irrigation systemsExcellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and constructionWork starts early (often 6:30 AM) to beat the Texas heat and usually ends around 3:30 PM.
