Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Operator. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, and other related equipment. Core tasks include performing excavation and earthmoving activities, inspecting and maintaining equipment, ensuring workplace safety standards, and collaborating with team members to complete mining and reclamation projects efficiently. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Heavy Equipment and Equipment Operation, with the ability to handle excavators and loaders, dozers, water trucks and dump trucks
• Understanding and experience in Excavation and Used Equipment usage
• Knowledge and skills in Equipment Maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality of machinery
• Strong emphasis on workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying site conditions
• Relevant certifications or licenses for operating heavy machinery, where applicable
• Experience in mining, construction, or land reclamation is a plus
