Health Safety Environment Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Follows all corporate EHS policies and incorporates companywide initiatives in site specific policy
  • Maintains all required OSHA records, to include OSHA logs, training records, JSA information, and hazard corrections
  • Coordinate and conduct monthly EHS trainings
  • Conduct new hire safety orientations
  • Coordinate and maintain all required monthly and annual medical testing information (Audiometric testing, Antimony Exposure testing, etc.)
  • Partners with plant Ops and production staff to conduct risk assessments and update JSA’s
  • Serves as site safety committee chair
  • Communicates all site incidents to corporate EHS manager
  • Trend and track incident data in order to identify opportunities for risk reduction
  • Engages production staff in order to drive safe work practices and timely incident reporting
  • Investigates cost savings through PPE offerings

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding government regulation, safety and environmental compliance
  • Ability to objectively and accurately evaluate data utilizing analytical skills to maximize overall EHS performance
