Health & Safety Coordinator (Warehouse)

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to support and execute health, safety, and security initiatives within a warehouse environment. This role is responsible for driving a culture of safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts related to workplace safety, injury prevention, and operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as internal company policies
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
- Perform health & safety audits and partner with site leadership to address findings and implement corrective measures
- Monitor safety programs and initiatives to identify trends and opportunities for behavioral and process improvements
- Analyze incident data, near misses, and injury trends to recommend training and operational enhancements
- Support incident investigations and assist in developing preventative action plans
- Oversee contractor safety compliance, including training, documentation, and permitting requirements
- Maintain safety programs and documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards
- Prepare and deliver regular safety performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Facilitate health & safety training for employees and leadership teams
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to promote a strong safety culture
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required (Health & Safety or related field preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in health & safety, ideally within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and/or other relevant regulatory standards
- Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance programs
- Familiarity with ISO management systems is a plus
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, or equivalent) are preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and training capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 base, eligibility to earn a discretionary bonus
