The Springfield-Greene County Health Department and the WIC (Women, Infant, and Children) division is seeking qualified and passionate applicants to make a difference in their community as a Health Program Assistant.This position will initiate WIC certifications by implementing the State approved criteria and procedures to assess and document applicants' eligibility for the WIC program, and assure that WIC participants receive accurate and complete assessment as part of the certification process.

Bilingual capabilities in Spanish are strongly preferred. Position will have a rotating schedule of shifts including: 7:00AM - 4:00PM; 8:00AM - 5:00PM; 9:00AM - 6:00PM; Monday - Friday.

Experience, Education, and Training
  • At least one year of experience in general office work;
PREFERRED
  • Experience with an emphasis on contact with the public;
  • Experience in customer service.


Licensing/Certification
  • Assignment requires incumbent to possess a valid Driver's License and must provide own vehicle for on the job transportation purposes.
