ABOUT HOMEFIELDMost communities have entrepreneurs who cannot access traditional venture capital and cannot take on traditional debt. They are building real businesses, creating real jobs, and generating real wealth and the capital system was not built for them.Homefield exists to change that. We are a fintech and edtech company that helps accelerators, universities, and economic development organizations launch investment funds. The Homefield Capital Stack is a multi-strategy investment framework that gives communities a new way to invest in the entrepreneurs and ecosystems they are building. It is delivered through New Funders Studio, our AI-powered platform. Our goal is bold: a thousand funds across the United States in the next ten years, transforming who gets funded and how communities build wealth. We are a small, founder-led team doing meaningful work at the intersection of finance, technology, and economic development.THE ROLEHomefields core product is New Funders Studio an AI-powered platform that delivers the Homefield Capital Stack to entrepreneurial ecosystems ready to launch investment funds and deploy capital. The platform provides structured programs, AI-powered assessments, and a growing knowledge base that helps ecosystem builders, aspiring fund managers, and founders understand and use multi-strategy investment frameworks. Participants enter where they are and move through at their own pace. This role owns the programs and operations that make it work in the real world. As Head of Programs & Product, you run Homefields program and delivery operations. You own the curriculum, the participant experience, the client relationships, the platform content, and the team that makes it all happen. You work across the full arc of the Homefield pipeline: partnering with economic development organizations, universities, and accelerators to design and deliver programs that activate their entrepreneurial ecosystems; facilitating sessions that move aspiring fund managers from zero to launch-ready; and building the program infrastructure that scales as Homefield grows. You will also be a key voice in the product build of New Funders Studio. You understand how adults learn complex financial concepts, and you translate that into platform features, automated workflows, and AI-assisted learning paths that get participants to outcomes faster wherever they are starting from.On day one, you will manage Program Associates who deliver workshops and support participants across fund manager and founder tracks. You will set priorities, allocate resources across engagements, and make the operational calls that keep the business moving. And you will build the systems and team that let Homefield serve more ecosystems without losing quality.WHAT YOU WILL DOOwn the participant experience, end to end. You are accountable for the quality, consistency, and outcomes of every program Homefield delivers to ecosystem partners, fund managers, and founders. That means the curriculum design, the program structure, the facilitation approach, the participant experience, and the results. If an ecosystem partner launches a Homefield program and their fund managers are not ready to raise, that is on you to fix.Build and maintain the curriculum. Design learning pathways, session structures, and program materials organized around the Homefield Capital Stack. Develop a knowledge base covering multi-strategy investment frameworks, fund design, legal structures, capital raising, portfolio construction, and LP/GP dynamics. Build for delivery at scale and for participants entering at every stage of readiness.Drive the platform product. Work closely with the Founder to shape New Funders Studio. Translate program design into platform requirements. Develop AI-powered assessments that help ecosystem partners understand the entrepreneurial and capital landscape in their regions. Build automated systems to track participant milestones and progress across engagements.Manage ecosystem partnerships. Partner with economic development organizations, universities, and accelerators to co-design programs that activate their ecosystems. Serve as the primary relationship owner for ecosystem partners, fund managers, and founders moving through Homefields programs. Refer clients to Homefields fund services team when they are ready to raise.Run the operations. Manage the full lifecycle of multiple engagements simultaneously. Build and maintain project plans and milestone trackers in Asana. Track participant and partner activity in HubSpot. Develop repeatable workflows and SOPs so the team can deliver consistently without reinventing the process every time.Develop the team. Manage and grow Program Associates. Set priorities, coach junior team members, and build a delivery team that can scale with the business.WHAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DODesign programs and curriculum for adult professional audiences from outline to delivery to iterationBuild learning experiences that meet participants where they are and move them to measurable outcomesTranslate complex financial concepts multi-strategy investment frameworks, fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, capital raising into content that sticks for non-expert audiencesFacilitate sessions and use AI tools to accelerate participant progressTranslate program needs into product requirements and work alongside developers to build themRun operations across multiple workstreams you have done it before and you know what it takesBuild systems and processes that scale, not just to-do listsManage and develop a teamMove between worlds: attorneys, fund managers, economic developers, university partners, first-time foundersMake decisions with incomplete information and own the outcomesWHO YOU AREYou have built programs before and you have a point of view on what great looks like. You do not need to be told what to do next. You are a builder. You see a curriculum that is good and immediately think about how to make it great. You see a platform feature and immediately think about the participant on the other end of it.You are proactive. You track participant progress before problems surface and fix the program before the next person runs into the same wall. You light up when you are teaching someone how to do something they did not think they could do, especially when that thing is launching a fund or taking on investment for the first time. You are organized and people feel calm around you.You are comfortable with ambiguity. Homefield is a startup, and you will help define this role as you grow into it.You care about the mission. Who gets funded and how communities build wealth is not abstract to you.WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOTThis is not a fund management role. You are not making investment decisions or managing capital. You are making sure fund managers have what they need to do that well. This is not a passive coordination role. You need to understand fund mechanics deeply enough to teach them, design assessments around them, and build platform content that makes them accessible to first-time funders. Our programs deliver general knowledge through published curriculum and structured program materials. You are a developer of people and a builder of products helping ecosystem partners, fund managers, and founders learn the mechanics they need to go build something that matters in their communities.EXPERIENCE7 to 10 years in edtech, fintech, or a learning-forward startup; experience in curriculum design, program management, or learning operations requiredTrack record of building and running programs with full ownership of outcomes, across participants at varying stages of readinessExperience translating program design into platform or product requirementsBackground in fund administration, venture capital operations, or GP services strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to teach, train, or facilitate workshops for adult professional audiences on complex topicsExisting connections to Homefields client base you should be able to name three or more economic development organizations, accelerators, or universities that would be interested in what we are buildingFamiliarity with HubSpot and Asana preferredPlease write a detailed cover letter detailing your qualifications and, if applicable, detailing your preferred working situation. If proposing a working situation where you are not full time on site, please describe in detail other times you have been successful in managing a large team remotely and your proposal for joining the team on site on a regular cadence.
