About HRSoft, Inc.: HRSoft’s platform is trusted by enterprise organizations to manage complex compensation programs, providing a strong foundation for continued innovation and scale. The company is uniquely positioned to define the future of compensation management through HRSoft Intelligence, embedding AI across the compensation lifecycle to drive automation, insights, and better decision-making for HR and Finance leaders.

HRSoft has evolved from a single-product company into a multi-product LCNC platform through strategic acquisitions. With a strong engineering foundation and an expanding customer base, the company is entering its next phase: evolving into a product-led, AI-powered LCNC platform company.

This is a pivotal moment. HRSoft is seeking a product leader who can unify the platform, lead AI-driven innovation, and elevate the overall product experience, while operating effectively in a lean, execution-focused environment.

Position Overview: The Head of Product will define and execute HRSoft’s next phase of product evolution. This role extends beyond product management discipline. The Head of Product will:

  • Execute the company’s product vision as defined by the Product Council, directing Product Managers, Product Designers and Product Owners to bring that vision to life and equipping Engineering with the requirements needed to build the intended solution
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the company’s product vision, regularly engaging with customers, prospects, vendors, influencers, and press to communicate how HRSoft’s products differentiate and deliver optimal value.

Key Responsibilities:

AI services layer

  • Improve interoperability across the platform
  • Strengthen ecosystem integrations (Workday, UKG, SAP, Oracle)
  • Clearly position HRSoft as a platform, not a point solution

4. Advance User Experience to Enterprise Standards

  • Further advance a cohesive, enterprise-grade user experience across all products
  • Lead UI/UX continuous improvements
  • Align UX with complex enterprise workflows and decision-making needs
  • Improve usability, consistency, and design maturity across the platform

5. Drive Vertical Product Strategy (Initial Focus: Financial Services)

  • Translate industry-specific requirements into differentiated product capabilities
  • Partner closely with go-to-market teams to ensure strong product-market alignment
  • Establish a repeatable model for expansion into additional verticals

6. Lead in a Lean, Hands-On Environment

  • Lead and develop a high-impact product team (Product Director and PMs)
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in compensation, incentives and financial outcomes, enabling credible engagement with senior HR and Finance stakeholders and ensuring product decisions reflect real-world complexity and value drivers.
  • Incorporate rapid "Build-Measure-Learn" cycles to validate high-impact features against hard-dollar customer ROI, ensuring that every technological breakthrough is coupled with a superior distribution strategy to secure undisputed category leadership.
  • Serve as the final arbiter and negotiator on product trade-offs, aligning internal stakeholders and, where needed, directly engaging with customers to ensure commitments are strategic, scalable, and aligned to long-term platform vision.
  • Coach and elevate product management capabilities
  • Operate effectively without large support infrastructure
  • Stay close to customers, implementations, and engineering teams
  • Drive execution with urgency and ownership in a high-growth environment

  • Further streamline customer onboarding and integration at scale
  • Drive adoption of product analytics tools to inform roadmap decisions and improve customer outcomes

  • Establish a disciplined build vs. buy framework for enabling technologies

8. Lead Product Strategy for M&A and Platform Expansion

  • Partner with CEO, CFO, and investors to evaluate potential acquisitions aligned to HRSoft’s platform and AI strategy
  • Lead product diligence efforts, including assessment of:

Product architecture and scalability

AI capabilities and extensibility

Data models and integration complexity

Customer use cases and product-market fit

  • Define post-acquisition product integration strategy:

Platform alignment (data, workflows, UX)

Rationalization of overlapping capabilities

Integration into shared services (AI, analytics, workflows)

  • Drive execution of product integration plans to accelerate time-to-value from acquisitions
  • Ensure acquisitions strengthen HRSoft’s positioning as a unified, AI-powered platform, not a collection of point solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally (R&D, GTM, Client Success) to align product integration with commercial strategy and customer impact

Team & Environment

  • Strong and capable engineering team
  • Built on a foundation of engineering excellence and customer driven innovation
  • Collaborative, engineering-forward culture where product leadership partners closely to drive outcomes

This role requires a leader who operates without “ivory tower” distance from execution and leads through credibility, alignment, and results.
