This person is responsible for delivering profitable growth by ensuring that color standards, custom color development, and color libraries become a competitive advantage across the business chain.


Responsibilities:

  • Business development and general management:
  • Develop a roadmap for the Color Management business that includes portfolio strategy (new products, services, digital tools, color libraries), market segmentation and value propositions, pricing strategy and monetization of color services, and provide guidelines for Global customer engagement model.
  • Decide operational and sales targets of Archroma together with Regional Vice President.
  • Sales development and customer management:
  • Establish sales strategy for color services, including development of software products and color tools.
  • Engage top global brands and retailers, align on tolerances, workflows, and digital adoption, resolve escalations and protect strategic accounts.
  • Manage product promotion and set pricing guidelines.
  • Coordinate and support actions through close collaboration with Brand Engagement team.
  • Production and operations:
  • Establish and monitor KPIs that deliver financial performance.
  • Implement on a continuous basis action to minimize production lead time.
  • Enforce process controls to minimize off quality, maximize right first-time dyeing, shade approval cycle, customer complaints and returns.
  • Monitor vendor performance, qualification and raw material pricing to ensure optimization.
  • Team management:
  • Manage, motivate and provide training to employees.
  • Develop a color competency framework, train labs, QC teams, and suppliers,
  • Build a global network of color experts and ensure consistent skill levels across organization
  • Oversee and guide Technical Director on formulation guidelines with global technical directives:
  • Ensure technical integrity of all Archroma recipes produced.
  • Maintain regular contact with global product managers for technical support and product updates.
  • Align Color Development with Archroma dyes portfolio and positioning - item deletion and reformulation strategy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or business. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years work experience in sales management
  • Strong business acumen, financial and leadership skills
  • In-depth expertise of textile dyes and color science – colorimetry, spectrophotometry, visual assessment, digital color standards, tolerances, illuminants, measurement conditions
  • Strategic and operational competencies
  • Manufacturing and operational knowledge – lab to bulk correlation, dyeing, quality control systems and global reproducibly standards, supplier qualification
