Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team. This position requires the ability to grind pieces to precise dimensions, typically using tool steel. The role involves removing metal by applying abrasives bonded to a rotating wheel and finishing flat, cylindrical, and conical surfaces. The successful candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting charts, drawings, and blueprints, determining product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and selecting appropriate grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels.

Work Environment
The machine shop is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, following a significant expansion and investment in new equipment. The facility is well-lit and temperature-controlled, offering a comfortable working environment. The position is for the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
