Graphic Designer

We are hiring an experienced Graphic Designer with a focus on scientific posters and PowerPoint presentations for our growing medical communications agency!

The Role

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be using your graphic design skills to layout and format visual elements for scientific publications, digital and print pieces, scientific posters, and peer-to-peer presentations for healthcare professionals. In this role, you will work closely with our stellar team of medical writers and editors and senior-level graphic designers to collaborate on a variety of fulfilling communications campaigns for clients who work on the forefront of medical advances that make a difference in patient lives.

More specifically, you will:

• Layout and revise well-balanced and visually organized scientific posters for medical congresses that engage viewers
• Create new or format existing PowerPoint presentations, develop engaging visuals to enhance presentation content, and create or apply templates and master slide layouts
• Create and redraw scientific charts, graphs, illustrations, and infographics
• Design and prepare print-ready files for meeting materials such as banners, signage, and handouts
• Apply applicable Apollo, client, and/or journal or congress branding and specifications to figures, tables, and other visual elements within project pieces

Who You Are

You have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, 3-5 years of design experience in a business setting [medical or scientific communications preferred], and a demonstrated acumen for concept-appropriate visuals and well organized, engaging layouts. You enjoy in-office collaboration and are ready to join a fast-paced and growing agency where you will contribute to high-quality content and build strong relationships with your team.

Additionally, you bring:

• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and advanced Microsoft PowerPoint design skills; note that experience in Canva does not meet these requirements
• Experience with print production management
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality checking your work
• The ability to manage time effectively and organize personal workflow
• A team-oriented attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills
