The Graduate Recruiter for Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing provides information for prospective nursing students, parents, faculty, and staff through written and verbal presentations in both one-on-one and group settings.
Collaborate with Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing leadership along with the Director of Graduate Recruitment to identify recruitment opportunities, including but not limited to:
prospective student visits and events
connecting prospective students to current students and faculty
communicating changes to new and existing programs in the school
Counsel applicants on admission requirements and scholarship processes.
Direct information sessions and meet with prospective students, their families and school officials.
Participate in all graduate recruiting initiatives for the Office of Admission including but not limited to extensive personal follow-up on inquiries and assistance with applicants through the enrollment process.
Direct, plan and assess many of the major graduate recruitment objectives of the Office of Admission in the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing.
Plan and take part in initiatives that support the recruitment of students from underserved populations.
Work closely with the Director of Graduate Recruitment, Director of CRM and Operations, admission counselors and student ambassador/recruitment team members.
Work with recruitment marketing coordinators to provide support for graphic production and design as needed.
Work with Nursing staff to train Nursing ambassadors to assist with recruitment (tours, outreach, walkovers, etc.).
Assist with tele counseling, answering emails and other follow-up activities needed to communicate with graduate prospective/accepted students with measurable goals in mind.
Assist with the development and coordination of open house events and other events for prospective students and their families both on and off campus.
Take an active role in all Office of Admission graduate recruitment events, both on and off campus.
Provide quality customer service to all prospective students/parents interested in Samford University.
Must be able to travel extensively (12-15 weeks per year)
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in student affairs, enrollment management, or a related field.
Current, valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Graduate Degree preferred.
Participation in student organizations while fulfilling undergraduate degree.
Two years’ work experience in student affairs, enrollment management, or related field.
Previous work in customer service field for at least six months.
