At Baylor Scott and White Sunnyvale, this position requires active participation in a guided training program that aligns with the scope of practice established by the applicable State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

The graduate nurse at Baylor Scott and White Sunnyvale will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing direct nursing care for assigned patients. Additionally, the role involves overseeing and supervising support staff, ensuring that delegated nursing tasks are carried out appropriately and in accordance with established standards at Baylor Scott and White Sunnyvale.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Certifications:

Required: Temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under the direct supervision of a registered nurse as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS.
