POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Graduate Assistant – Men’s Basketball Work Schedule: Part Time (Graduate Assistantship), 2 -Year Appointment Supervisor: Head Men’s Basketball Coach General Duties • Assist with planning and execution of practices, ga me-day strategies, and skill development • Oversee junior varsity team operations and support recruiting efforts in compliance with NAIA guidelines • Coordinate travel logistics and assist with camps, fundraising, and team development activities • Support team operations, including video evaluation , administrative tasks, and event planning • Collaborate with campus departments to enhance stud ent-athlete experience • Promote player safety, academic success, and person al development • Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athle tic Director Desired Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; full -time enrollment in a Tabor graduate program require d • Strong leadership, communication, and organizationa l skills • Committed to Tabor College’s Christ -centered mission and athletic vision • Experience in basketball coaching, playing, or admi nistration preferred • Has a demonstrable faith in Jesus Christ Graduate Program Options: • MBA: Leadership, Sports Management & Leadership, or Healthcare Leadership • M.Ed: Neuroscience and Trauma Compensation: • $3,500 yearly stipend • Tuition, books, and fee waiver • One meal per weekday in Tabor cafeteria (when open) Application Requirements : Submit cover letter, resume and under -graduate transcripts to Human Resource Manager, tchumrec@tabor.edu .
